Japan Tsunagari Pvt. Ltd. is a professionally run organization, led by two individuals, who strongly believe in living up to their commitments, are flexible in their approach to developing solutions and like to keep things simple It is incidental that both partners are women, with a keen desire to build a lasting organization that is known as much for its service delivery & commitment to its clients, as to its vendors, partners and employees.
Arunima holds an MA degree in Japanese from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and an MBA in Service Marketing from S P Jain. She started her career with AXA Business Services as a member of the initial team that transitioned the first set of Japanese back-office processes from AXA Life Japan. After 4+ years in AXA she went on to work with Aricent, Neeyamo Enterprise Solutions & HT Foods in roles span language consulting, process management and marketing.
After a corporate career of 10+ years, she decided to take the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship and embarked on the journey of Japan Tsunagari. At Japan Tsunagari she takes the lead on Business Development Administration & Accounts. She exudes enthusiasm for new ideas and is ever eager to move onto the next new thing or experiment with a new tool. A firm believer in balancing her personal & work lives, she is driven largely by the prospects of having fun & enjoying whatever she does. Photography travelling can be counted among her numerous interests.
Paromita holds a BA degree in Japanese from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Starting her career with Japan Airlines, She spent 2+ years working in Japan and last held the position of AVP, Change Management at AXA Business services, before leaving to join Arunima in building Japan Tsunagari. With 15, years' experience of working with Japanese in her corporate career, she is largely responsible for the Operations, Service delivery & Partner management at Japan Tsunagari.
Paromita strongly believes that the differentiating factor for Japan Tsunagari is the quality of service and can be often seen to be obsessing over improving existing processes in search of something better.
Her interests outside of work include her lave for dogs (epitomized by her rescued Indian-dog Zipper), taking road-trips and reading for fun.
